Ms. Canino's KB News & Updates
Reminders:
- Library books are due every Monday morning.
- Every Wednesday is a gym day. Students in KB need to be in their gym uniform and sneakers.
- Please continue to send your child with a reusable spill/leakproof water bottle for use throughout the day.
- Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather (coats/hats, etc.). Sneakers are only to be worn on gym days.
Upcoming Dates/Special Events:Kindergarten students will attend a ½ day of school on the following dates/times:
- GIRLS ONLY: Wednesday, August 27th, 2025, 8am - noon
- BOYS ONLY: Thursday, August 28th, 2025, 8am - noon
During this visit, your child will have an opportunity to tour our classroom, do some activities, as well as meet some friends. Your child does not need to wear their uniform to orientation. However, please kindly bring the supplies listed on the enclosed sheet so that we can begin to get organized.
Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, will be Kindergarten’s first official day of school, and it will be a FULL DAY. Please make sure your child arrives with their backpack along with a small morning snack, a packed lunch, and a reusable, non-spill water bottle. Students should also be wearing their spring uniforms.
We will have a Back to School Night on Wednesday September 3rd, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. I will explain information about what to expect during your child’s kindergarten year and will be available to answer any questions you may have. Only parents/guardians will attend this visit.
