Kim Tran

KimChi Tran, R.Ph., MBA, brings over four decades of experience in healthcare
administration and pharmacy services to her role as a detail-oriented team player. With
a background in pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on
healthcare administration, Kim has held various leadership positions at Christiana Care
Health System, including Director of Operations for Metabolic Health Services, Director
of Weight Management Center and Bariatric Surgery Program and Director of Home
Infusion Pharmacy. Committed to community health, Kim collaborates with
administrators, physicians, and community members to support public health initiatives.
She is also actively involved in volunteer work, serving as a team leader for the
American Heart Association's Annual Heart Walk and holding leadership roles in
Vietnamese prayer groups and cultural immersion programs. She is also a member of
St. John's Refugee & Immigration Ministry. Kim is a registered pharmacist in Delaware
and holds certifications in healthcare leadership and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Kim and her husband, Christopher Nguyen, have been members of St. John
Chrysostom parish since 1975. They now live in Wilmington, DE and continue to be part
of St. John’s parish. Both of their children, Sean and Kristine, graduated from St. John’s
school.
